Ghana Football Team moves Team Base Camp (TBC)

It is with regret that Faircity Hotels announces that the Ghana Football Association has decided to move the team base camp of their national team, The Black Stars, away from Faircity Roode Vallei, just Outside of Pretoria (Tshwane). The decision was a late minute call based on unforeseen technical requirements by the team after their arrival earlier this week.
The team is in the process of being moved to Sun City near Rustenburg in the Northwest Province. No further details about their new accommodation arrangements are available.
Faircity Roodevallei has been preparing for the arrival of the Black Stars for many months prior to their arrival. The preparations included many site visits and abundant correspondence by their advance teams, MATCH, FIFA, SAPS and their various sponsors. Unfortunately, last minute unexpected requirements by the team forced the decision to relocate to another property.
Says Gustav Holtzhausen, MD of Faircity Hotels: “We are disappointed by the decision to move the team, but accept their reasons for doing so. We are happy to report that they have agreed to honour their full contract and payment agreement with us and wish them well during the World Cup.”
